Reviewing Rimmel London, Oh My Gloss, Butter Me Up

Oh, My Gloss, Butter me up!

I recently had the opportunity to test the new Rimmel London, Oh My Gloss, Butter Me Up lip butter balm in colour 002 Bubblegum from Superdrug and here are my thoughts. πŸ’ž

πŸ’žThe colour of the packaging is gorgeous, and it has a matte feel to the tube. I love the size of this product. It's approximately 12.5cm long, and the product size is 15ml. I always lose my lip balms, so the size is great for me.

πŸ’ž The product itself is a stunning bubblegum pink colour when it comes out. It's not as thick as a lipgloss but a lot thicker than a lip oil. I think the consistency of this product is perfect πŸ₯°

πŸ’ž The applicator is such a gorgeous design. It looks very appealing, and it's clear, so you can see the product come out on every squeeze, which is such a fun novelty.

πŸ’ž As good as the applicator looks, I found it a little too big and found that the product went over my lip line on application, due to the size of the applicator. πŸ‘„ The pink colour isn't very pigmented. The pink comes out very subtly on my lips.

πŸ’ž The product does have a fragrance. I wouldn't say it smelled like bubblegum; more fruity and a little artificial. I could taste the artificial fragrance, which was a little unpleasant.

πŸ’ž Even though I didn't like the smell, the product glided over my lips very smoothly, and it really kept my lips moisturised. It stayed on my lips for 2-3 hours, eating, drinking and chatting a lot, which is very good.

🌿 It's vegan and animal-friendly 🐰
πŸ“ƒ All the ingredients are listed on the back, and it's made in the UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

πŸ’– If you are a loyal Rimmel London customer, I would encourage you to give this new product a try, but as much as I love Rimmel, this wasn't my favourite Glossy Lip Balm.

Pros:

πŸ‘Glossy and moisturising
πŸ‘Lovely pink colour
πŸ‘Long tube, so it's easy to find
πŸ‘Glides on smoothly

Cons:

πŸ‘ŽVery strong artificial fragrance
πŸ‘ŽThe applicator is too large
πŸ‘ŽThe colour pink is not very pigmented, but I think it's buildable
